Bluetooth Speakers
Two Bluetooth speakers are included in each Kit. They are meant to be used with either the included iPad or a computer (not included).
Turning them on
Press and hold the big power button on the bottom of both speakers at the same time. This pairs them to each other to make it a stereo set. It also puts them in ready mode to connect to a device.
They have already been paired with the iPad in the Kit.
Turning them off
Turn the speakers off the same way - by pressing and holding the big power button.
Indicator lights
Located in the solid plastic band just above the base, the indicator lights are red or green on the left to indicate battery status while charging and blue on the right to indicate pairing status. The blue light blinks until they have paired with a device.
The "jam2" lights up when the speakers are powered on.
Pairing
If you need to pair the speakers to a new device, the iPad should be powered off. The speakers will auto join to the iPad if it is on. They announce when they are ready to pair. You will use the Bluetooth settings on the device you want to pair with to find the speakers and make the connection.
The speakers are already paired to each other and will produce stereo sound. They should be aligned to the side of the room indicated by the slider switch on the bottom of the speaker. Please do not change the slider position.
Most checkout laptops do not have Bluetooth native to the computers. If you want to be able to use these speakers with a laptop you checkout from the Equipment Team, please indicate that in the comments at the end of the form.
Charging
Product information on these speakers say they should last 3-4 hours on each charge. If you need them longer than that (particularly for a full day session), either plug them in all day or charge them in the middle of the day during a break.
Use the speaker charging cables, and one of the charging bricks - most likely the one included in the Swivl case.
